Ordered my first batch of Break O’Day.
As someone who likes to believe he has an Italian palate (despite having zero Italian heritage and a suspicious addiction to spaghetti bolognese), this blend felt like the right choice.
I’ve been using pre-ground Aldi coffee in my moka pot for the past year. Not proud of it. My moka pot isn’t proud of it. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s been silently judging me every morning.
But one brew from these beans and suddenly my moka pot is acting like it just got promoted. The aroma alone made me question every life decision I’ve made involving cheap coffee.
This is hands-down the best coffee that has ever passed through that pot.
Honestly, it’s about time I treated the poor thing with some dignity.
My mornings now feel like a minor cinematic event, and for the first time I’m not embarrassed offering guests a coffee.
Riverina Roasters have made sure my moka pot finally has something worth showing off.
